Craniofacial Orthodontics

Specialized orthodontic care for patients with cleft lip and palate, craniofacial differences, and congenital conditions, coordinated with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Patients with cleft lip and palate, other craniofacial differences, or congenital conditions require orthodontic care that is coordinated closely with a broader multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Dr. Nasrawi completed a Craniofacial Orthodontic Fellowship at ECPCA in Italy, focusing on the orthodontic management of patients with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial conditions.

Treatment for these patients is planned in coordination with the wider care team, which may include oral and maxillofacial surgeons, speech and language therapists, and other specialists, across the different stages of growth and development.

What's involved

  • Fellowship training. Craniofacial Orthodontic Fellowship at ECPCA, Italy, focused on cleft and craniofacial care.
  • Multidisciplinary coordination. Treatment planned alongside the wider surgical and medical care team.
  • Growth-stage planning. Orthodontic care coordinated across the relevant stages of a patient's growth and treatment journey.
  • Individualized approach. Every craniofacial case is different; treatment plans are built around the individual patient and their care team.
