Complex Orthodontic Cases

Advanced diagnosis and customized biomechanics for severe malocclusions, interdisciplinary treatment, and challenging tooth movements.

Some orthodontic cases involve severe malocclusions, significant skeletal discrepancies, or a combination of dental and medical factors that require more advanced diagnosis and a carefully customized treatment plan.

Complex cases may involve significant crowding or spacing, impacted teeth, asymmetries, combined surgical-orthodontic treatment, or coordination with other dental and medical specialists.

Dr. Nasrawi's training in advanced biomechanics and his experience managing challenging cases allow him to design treatment plans for patients who may have been told their case is difficult to treat, or who are seeking a second opinion on a complex diagnosis.

What's involved

  • Advanced diagnosis. Detailed clinical, photographic, and radiographic assessment to fully understand the underlying problem.
  • Customized biomechanics. Treatment mechanics designed specifically around the case rather than a standard protocol.
  • Interdisciplinary coordination. Collaboration with oral surgeons, periodontists, and other specialists where a case requires combined care.
  • Second opinions welcomed. Patients who have received a complex diagnosis elsewhere are welcome to seek an independent assessment.
